Speaking of enjoying the whole time, Bernard Madoff is 70, but it's been a hell of a sweet 70 years for him. I've heard the excuse that he doesn't have that much longer to live, so what are they going to do?... Well, they could put him under house arrest in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan...any majorly economically fucked state, instead of his Manhattan apartment. NOT punishment enough for me. I want to be under house arrest in Manhattan. And if he didn't buy any securities, isn't this just a criminal case? Cut out more of the SEC labor on the case and put them on a more important job & let this asshole hash it out as straight up criminal. And not a white collar criminal either. This is just more proof that people who have little to nothing may finally be the norm and not the exception. America let itself fail by consuming and making the standard that of increased consumption & ownership. Instead of a moderate and sustainable existance for all, it's going to be a dramatically reduced exsistance for so many more. I'll be satisfied when Jim Kramer is sucking dicks for $20 dollar bills, incall only. Seriously. I'm sick of that guy. Rise up fellow careful spenders and we'll cook our favorite dishes for each other, while listening to records on the turntable(that's you, me and Bjork, K)!!

The California Supreme Court has 90 days to rule on the appeal of Prop 8. I don't get it. In this economy, let's get as many people into the wedding industry as possible. Let everyone have an equal right the right to make a mistake by voluntarily entering a nonsensical financial contract. I guarantee it will stimulate the economy. That's the thing about hard times. People start caring less about their moral finger wagging and more about whether people are good folk. And these good folk deserve to have the same right to marry. And the family? Let me tell you, many gays love to have kids just as fanatically, if not more, as any one.


On the side of continuing conspicuous consumption (alliteration anyone?) and living out side your means, let's just look at the newly opened House of Barbie in Shanghai. Six stories of hot pink nonsense. If I were really loaded and in Shanghai, I guess I would go there if it were free to get in. Otherwise, let's just lure Paris Hilton in there and seal that tomb.
