    Badger- PNSFW

This link is old, but all the links on the site are worthy. Especially the Simpson's one.

It's possibly NSFW only because it's loud and never ends. Literally. It just goes on and on.

        Old and Funny

Why do I think this terrible story is funny. Disturbing funny, but still kinda funny.

          Chloe Sevigny and the Fellas

So Chloe Sevigny's first range for Opening Ceremony was a much lauded success. Of course it was. Now her second line is for the guys... and the gals. We can all breathe a collective cool sigh of relief.

BTW, I'm loving the Hayden Harnett private sale.

              Family Circle

Sent in by a loyal reader:

"Metallica Daycare tip #23 for the lazy parent."

One of the best and most useful things to get yourself if you are in charge of a kid, is a 25ft tape measure. This doubles as a tool and a toy for your 2-3 year old. You can sit in a chair and do nothing for a long time, while your kid gets exercise pulling the end all the way across the room and letting it go. He'll do this over and over and over again. Then if that gets old, you can trade and give him the main part. He will quickly learn how to hold it properly after his fingers get snapped once. (Once is all it will take to learn this life lesson.)

You can also slide pebbles or marbles down it like a slide, when its out at 3 or 4 ft. Of course then, later on when he gets older, there are numbers and measurement lessons he can learn from this tool.

You won't be sorry, this is one of the best things to have to play with a kid. These tape measurers are great, they are built like a brick, small and fun. Get a good quality big one though (25 footer) plus you need one anyway...

              -lazy Dad / Auckland

I can do this one better because I have a measuring tape w/ a recording device built in. Woo Hoo!! Let the laziness begin!!

Vote Early and Vote Often - Indiana

Ok. Well I guess I'll have to let go of my resentment re: the American media not picking up the Fritzl/cellar story. Now he's saying his actions were symptoms of an addiction. Whatever. No personal responsibility here.

Nah. I think I'll keep my resentment right here in my chest pocket.

Just got off the phone w/ my confidante and fellow ex-cougar, Velour Brown, from Hammond, which is in Lake County, Indiana. When I hear Hammond is in the national news, I know something's gone awry. So I had to find out WTF is going on there w/ the Primary from a real, live person. Not the TV or Internet. Apparently the count's not done as of now, nor was it done last night @ midnight. I have been informed that many voting citizens in Chicagoland vote TWICE. I'm embarrassed that I barely have the energy to vote ONCE. I love it when people vote twice for something they don't know about. I am only making this statement because it was confirmed by a real, logical person in Hammond.

Well, the conversation can't end there. We both agreed we wouldn't have a problem w/ Barack, but even if he wins the primary, this country isn't ready for him. Seriously. I think people like the idea, but the US is still too racist to elect him since every state is not New York or California. Given the choice between a Black guy and a White woman, unfortunately, the woman is easier to digest.

I hope I'm wrong. I've been wrong before. I can deal w/ being wrong. VB also informed me the KKK was founded in Indiana. Awesome!!

Revised: See Velour's corrections to my post. Sometimes, I'm not the best listener.
