Volume I: When this came out I was busy pretending to be not "Like a Virgin".


Volume II: I was in NYC visiting Liz and Jam Master J is shot while I'm there. Picked up a tabloid rag to bring home & gave it to Frylock. No longer a "virgin", pretending or otherwise, I really couldn't believe Madonna was still haunting the Earth but Jam Master J was gone. Still an unsolved murder, officially. I guess today is just a RUN-DMC kinda day.

BELATED Congrats Run DMC: BLTN Edition

I'm late to the party cuz Run DMC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 3, 2009. I'm particularly impressed that they decided not to show up to accept. That is loyalty and honor, people. They didn't want to perform under said moniker without Jam Master Jay, who was murdered in 2002.

Aside: I was visiting Manhattan when Jam Master Jay was assassinated. CRAZY!! I bought the newspaper, but then gave it to a friend who would need it more.
