It's Totally OK
Though the bloated blogger may have a problem w/ Anthony Kiedis' parenting, I think it's great and many more celebrities should follow. I'm both serious AND sarcastic about this one!!

Farewell Friend
I'd also like to bid a fond farewell to George Carlin. I loved your alchemy that made a romance language of dirty words, socio-political awareness and humor. You, like so many in my recent experience, will be missed but not forgotten. Your heart stopped, but your meaning and importance has not. Bon Voyage.

Another Upside To Global Warming a/k/a Global Warming Chic
Thank God the "smeared makeup" look has become vogue! This is a no brainer for those of us who either live in the warmer climates &/or aren't that great at the straight lines and symmetrical looks commonly preferred by makeup artists and cosmetic neophytes everywhere!

Everything 70's is New Again
This was sent by an avid reader/drinker who recommends this as not only an awesome summer beverage, but a great weight loss strategy. "No hangover ever, no carbs, no calories, I hardly ever drink beer anymore. I'm losing weight. Awesome drink. see attached." Yes. I'm seeing the attached and it reminds me of the first diet drink I ever tasted.

Random Friday
Here's a picture of a hot Mom from a reader who loves hot summer days and Moms wearing tight, white shirts &/or pants. It's actually not limited to just MILF's. He loves the rainbow of ladies in white. He's always wondering "Lordy, could that shirt get ANY tighter?" I'm expecting more pictures of blanco clad women w/ this whole global warming deal. I'm looking for the upside of this global warming disaster. I completely appreciate his amusing sentiment. If only because I love it when women have their boobs prominently displayed, (I'm not saying the MILF in the picture is doing this.) front and center and then become flabbergasted/indignant when someone looks. Really now, why are they so out there if not for the public enjoyment? I strongly believe it's very feminist to take responsibility for your hotness and admit that everyone likes attention sometimes. I'm not just talking out of my ass here. I'm a professional shopper and I KNOW there are TONS of shapeless clothes out there if you want to cover up & not draw attention to yourself. The "maternity wear" empire waist silhouette is still, remarkably, in.
I haven't been doing much to support PRIDE. I heard only this year that June is like "Gay Christmas" in SF. I can't believe I've never heard this before because I've been here for more than a decade and I have plenty of friends who are full of all sorts of PRIDE. Anyway, I participated by going to this high femme, of course, event. The MANI PEDI Cabaret last night. I even wore a satin cocktail dress. Why are the hetero's always the last to know?
Last but not least, a fellow Aunt got super illustrated on explodingdog.com. The concept behind explodingdog is a great marketing device. It will always get people to return to the site to see if they've been "selected" or just to keep track of the creative process. Genius.
Good hustle out there people!! Try to stay cool. No really. It's that hot.

Crazy is Mariah Carey's Favorite Color
In my aforementioned disappointment w/ the state of American cinema, I went completely to the dark side. I saw Glitter. Wow. It was pretty bad, but only about HONEY bad. Both Jessica Alba and Mariah Carey are too good to show their tits. It wasn't bad enough to bring out the crazy like it did. It was just Jessica Alba bad. No better, no worse.

I Forgot The Zohan
I forgot to mention I saw YOU DON'T MESS W/ THE ZOHAN out of cinematic desperation. I was as pleased as I could be to see Mariah Carey, George Takei, Bruce Villanch and John McEnroe, but was gravely disappointed to see Rob Schneider and to find out that Robert Smigel was a writer. This is a bleak time for American Cinema, people, & it has been for a while. I didn't think Zohan would really help, but man, I feel like Tatum O'neill researching a role. I need a GOOD hit, but I'll take a bad one. It did teach me something about hacky sack and the middle east, but otherwise, generally insulting.
I'm not against the Summer Blockbuster, per se, but where is the violence? The action? The summer season brings nothing to the table for adults, but I guess it never did. I guess this is the time for me to catch up on the seasons of 24 I haven't seen. Netflix & Denise Richards, here I come.

A Bump in Paris?
Coincidentally, I was also watching ROSEMARY'S BABY when I saw this. I love me a little Polanski!! I'm pro baby bump for Paris. Why not? She can afford it and I don't care. I just don't know if she's ready for what a baby does to the body. Whatever, she can afford to fix that too. I'm inclined to think it might be a bump because she's been photographed from every angle and she's never shown a gut before. But I'm not beyond being wrong. And I don't care.

RE: Homelessville
I know this is old, but it's still funny and I've got nothing else right now.
