Though the bloated blogger may have a problem w/ Anthony Kiedis' parenting, I think it's great and many more celebrities should follow. I'm both serious AND sarcastic about this one!!

I'd also like to bid a fond farewell to George Carlin. I loved your alchemy that made a romance language of dirty words, socio-political awareness and humor. You, like so many in my recent experience, will be missed but not forgotten. Your heart stopped, but your meaning and importance has not. Bon Voyage.

Thank God the "smeared makeup" look has become vogue! This is a no brainer for those of us who either live in the warmer climates &/or aren't that great at the straight lines and symmetrical looks commonly preferred by makeup artists and cosmetic neophytes everywhere!

In my aforementioned disappointment w/ the state of American cinema, I went completely to the dark side. I saw Glitter. Wow. It was pretty bad, but only about HONEY bad. Both Jessica Alba and Mariah Carey are too good to show their tits. It wasn't bad enough to bring out the crazy like it did. It was just Jessica Alba bad. No better, no worse.

Did you watch the mid season finale of Battlestar Galactica?? I know it comes on @ the same time as Talk Soup, but they show that all weekend.
I forgot to mention I saw YOU DON'T MESS W/ THE ZOHAN out of cinematic desperation. I was as pleased as I could be to see Mariah Carey, George Takei, Bruce Villanch and John McEnroe, but was gravely disappointed to see Rob Schneider and to find out that Robert Smigel was a writer. This is a bleak time for American Cinema, people, & it has been for a while. I didn't think Zohan would really help, but man, I feel like Tatum O'neill researching a role. I need a GOOD hit, but I'll take a bad one. It did teach me something about hacky sack and the middle east, but otherwise, generally insulting.

I know this is old, but it's still funny and I've got nothing else right now.
